This Main Roads WA Accreditation Refresher Course updates participants on the latest Main Roads WA requirements, AGTTM, Australian Standards, and legislative changes. It reinforces the skills required to monitor Traffic Guidance Schemes and amend Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), prepared by a person holding an AWTM accreditation.

Copy or photo of current / previous valid Australian OR Recognised Driver's Licence - minimum probationary.

Main Roads Certificate of accreditation for BWTM & WTM
(N/A if previous student of Perth Traffic Training)
You will also be required to provide the following:
List a minimum of three TMPs you have reviewed or modified in the previous 12 months.
Within the last 12 months provide the following:
Traffic management plan with multiple TGS and at least one speed reduction that was implemented that you amended. The submission should include risk assessment and daily diary;
and a copy of an onsite inspection of a roadwork or event traffic management site you have completed.
OR
Where your primary role is reviewing, recommending and/or authorising Traffic Management Plans, provide:
Traffic Management Plan you have reviewed or approved with your review comments, for assessment.
RE-ACCREDITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED UNTIL ALL DOCUMENTS ARE PROVIDED.
IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO RE-SIT THE FULL COURSE.
This is non-accredited training, therefore a Statement of Attainment is not issued.
Students will be provided with a Main Roads WA Certificate of Accreditation and ID Card valid for three years.
The CTF provides funding support for training of eligible workers in the construction industry. We acknowledge the support of the CTF in reducing the costs of training for eligible workers.
