CONSTRUCTION INDUCTION WHITE CARD
To legally work on a construction site in Western Australia, all workers must complete general construction induction training, also known as White Card training.
This mandatory course covers essential safety knowledge and is designed to prepare individuals to work safely in the construction industry.

BASIC WORKSITE
TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
This course is for anyone required to work on or near Western Australian roads. If you just need to implement a traffic management plan and erect traffic management signs and devices then you need the Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) accreditation.
Just know that this accreditation DOES NOT allow the controlling of traffic with a stop/slow bat.

BASIC WORKSITE TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
& TRAFFIC CONTROL
This course is suitable for anyone required to work on, or near Western Australian roads, who are required to read, interpret and implement traffic management plans, handle and erect traffic management signs and devices and control traffic with a stop/slow bat.
Units covered:

The BWTM-TC is a three (3) day course, which is delivered face to face with an emphasis on practical training and assessment.

WORKSITE TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
This Main Roads WA Accreditation Course provides participants with the theory and practical skills required to review TMPs prepared by a person holding an AWTM accreditation.
Monitoring the effectiveness of, and on-site adjustments or modifications to the Traffic Management Plan / Traffic Guidance Scheme outside tolerance in accordance with its scope and objectives.

ADVANCED WORKSITE

This Main Roads WA Accreditation Course provides participants with the theory and practical skills required to prepare, review, monitor, adjust and modify Traffic Management Plans and Traffic Guidance Schemes.

ADVANCED WORKSITE
TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
NON-PRACTIONER
A purpose-built accreditation from Main Roads WA, designed for professionals who oversee, assess, or approve traffic management practices.
If you’re part of a Local Government Authority, Main Roads WA, Road Authority, or are an Approving Officer or supervisory personnel, the Advanced Worksite Traffic Management (AWTM) Non-Practitioner accreditation is tailored for you. It's also ideal for individuals seeking professional development or refresher training in line with national best practices.

Aligned with the AGTTM TMP-NP framework from Austroads Guide to Temporary Traffic Management – Part 8.
What You’ll Be Able to Do With This Accreditation:

RE-ACCREDITATION
COURSES
Traffic Management Refresher courses are a Main Roads WA requirement for those looking to renew their accreditation in Western Australia.
These courses provide students with any changes or updates to rules and regulations whilst giving them the opportunity to brush up on their practical skills.
Refresher courses are mostly one (1) day, delivered face to face with an emphasis on practical training and assessment.
A PERSON CANNOT IMPLEMENT TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ONCE THEIR ACCREDITATION HAS EXPIRED.
Main Roads WA allows a person three months following the expiry of their accreditation to sit a one day Refresher. After this time they must re-sit the full course
