Anyone who carries out, supervises, or regularly enters a construction worksite in Australia generally needs a Construction Induction Training White Card (also called a General Construction Induction Card).
Construction work is defined as any work connected with the construction, alteration, repair, maintenance, demolition, or dismantling of a structure including, but not limited to, those working in building and construction,
civil construction and roadworks, traffic management and traffic control on worksites, demolition and renovations, maintenance and repair work, excavation and site preparation or installation or testing of services on construction sites
The Construction Induction Training White Card course covers the following unit:
CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
Participants must provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI) – Create or find your USI Here
Participants require a basic level of language, literacy and numeracy skills to enable them to meet the requirements of the course, at a minimum the ability to:

Comply with written and verbal reporting requirements and procedures

Communicate clearly and concisely with others to receive and clarify work instructions

Identify and select appropriate traffic guidance scheme and implement traffic management plans

Apply legislative requirements
