This Main Roads WA Accreditation Refresher Course updates participants on the latest Main Roads WA requirements, AGTTM, Australian Standards, and legislative changes. It reinforces the skills required to monitor Traffic Guidance Schemes and amend Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), prepared by a person holding an AWTM accreditation.

Pre-requisites

Unique Student Identifier (USI) number. Go to http://www.usi.gov.au to find it if you don’t have it.

Construction Induction White Card/ Safety Awareness Training Blue Card or equivalent.

This is what you need to provide:
Main Roads Certificate of accreditation in BWTM and WTM
Statement of Attainments or USI transcript for BWTM and WTM
If you do not have these, you must contact your training provider for copies.
If your last training course was with Perth Traffic Training, you are not required to provide these as we have them on file.
Tickets are not accepted.
List a minimum of three TMPs you have reviewed or modified in the previous 12 months.
Include the
1. Date,
2. Site Location,
3. Suburb,
4. Description of works,
5. TMP Number
Within the last 12 months provide the following:
-
A traffic management plan with multiple TGS and at least one speed reduction that was implemented that you amended. Your submission should include risk assessment and daily diary; and
-
a copy of an onsite inspection (compliance safety inspection, suitability review or site supervisor compliance (operational) safety inspections) of a roadwork or event traffic management site you have completed.
OR
Where your primary role is reviewing, recommending and/or authorising Traffic Management Plans, provide:
Traffic Management Plan you have reviewed or approved with your review comments, recommendations, modifications or the inspection report.
All evidence shall have been within the last 12 months of seeking their Main Roads WA Traffic Management re-accreditation for assessment.
RE-ACCREDITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED UNTIL ALL DOCUMENTS ARE PROVIDED.
IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO RE-SIT THE FULL COURSE.

This is non-accredited training, therefore a Statement of Attainment is not issued.
Students will be provided with a Main Roads WA Certificate of Accreditation and ID Card valid for three years.
